Sirhan Interceptor Operation Manual

The Sirhan Interceptor is a top of the line 80's style classic PPV featuring REC Basic vehicle scripts. REC Basic was written by the creator of this vehicle, so you can be sure the tuning and quality of this build is second to none. The vehicle itself was meshed and textured in Blender, using Substance Painter and Photoshop to complete the textures. 18 Paints in Total come with this vehicle. Also included are, Sirhan Interceptor Paint Dev Kit (Article Below) and, REC's NTBI GFS Fuel Addon.

The Sirhan Interceptor, which we will from now on just refer to as "SI" because well, typing sucks, has many features making it one of the best in world at this time. Some features listed below include:

First time starting, with a HUD worn, ("SIRHAN HUD" get one out of your options menu, must be seated to get it.) Sit in vehicle, click back window, and click engine. Car will start, NOW from this point on until you log off or hop to another car, your HUD stays connected and you can use Ignition from it as well as the other red button options. White button options, require you to be seated - no sense in shitting out a bunch of spike strips just because you forgot which key your siren is right?

We're going to assume you know how to drive, but there are a couple of things to know about REC and how the SI works.

Of course, WASD and arrows are your directional keys (or your arrows). This vehicle however has a reverse gear, so when you select reverse, you don't push S or down arrow, you push your W or forward key. Think of W as a gas pedal and S as a brake pedal. Braking, just like real life, is speed dependant based on mass. So the faster you're going, the longer it is going to take to stop, but that's ok, your back tires smoke a bit if you're really moving and hit the binders and it's pretty cool to watch. For a super quick stop below 10 mph, tap "S" this will engage a quick brake, great for hills, inclines, or just not hitting the Dunkin Donuts. Going forward, (W or up arrow) turns that quick brake off instantly.

Other than that, SI drives like most any other car in Secondlife, only better we think.

Vehicle is equipped with NTBI's Global Fuel System. The most widely used fuel system on the grid.

Fuel can be turned off inside the Addons Menu.

To fuel pull up to any NTBI GFS Fuel pump and click the pump to begin.

Fuel Tank size and MPG can be adjusted in the vehicles "Config" script.

In your vehicles root, is a modify script named "REC Basic Vehicle Script Engine Config 3D11.5". This script contains the vehicle configuration, much of which can, if desired, be adjusted. This script also contains commented out parameters for adding the REC NTBI (GFS) Fuel should you desire to do that. Always make backups before making changes to this script. Most users, wont need to touch this.

The Suspension in the Options menu, just turns Castray off for those sims with subpar platforms or roads they can act funny sometimes.

To access your Suspension/Body Roll Menu, when sitting in the car, type in local chat "/1 suspension" sans quotes and its menu will pop up.

NOTE: v2.0 Still has castray suspension, just not body roll+ adjustable.

Most things here are self explanatory. You can hit Ctrl Alt T to see the secondary sled under the car that runs all this should you need to reset your ride heights zero point.
